I've slammed all my stems and the saddle to bar drop is the same on all my bikes including the lo pro despite its seemingly more aggressive geo. It's a great do all bike. It can handle some speed but also loves taking it easy. Definitely recommend the size large if your 188. And also def recommend the lo pro if your considering it.
